HIGHER GROUND: NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS
According to Space.com, 2022 could be a turning point in the study of unidentified aerial phenomena — or UAP, the new term for UFOs. Some scientists are suggesting these flying objects are human time travelers. Other researchers theorize that UAPs are indeed aliens. Most can agree that UAPs are outliers — i.e., set apart from a main body or system, i.e., space. As outliers, UAPs are different, weird, strange, odd, detached, eccentric, and offbeat, which sounds like terms used to describe Aquarius.
Although not aliens, Aquarians are outliers in a way. Their ruling planet Uranus spins on its side at a 98 degree tilt, so even in the cosmos it’s an oddball. Further, Uranus is a higher octave of Mercury, ruler of communication, so Aquarians’ antennae are connected to the galactic, making them receptive to higher intelligence. When the sun is in the sign of Aquarius, we too are linked up with this out-of-this-world energy.
The New Moon in Aquarius on February 1, 2022 will make a square to Uranus (Aquarius’ ruler), so the galactic energy is strong. Though you may not meet an alien while squeezing fruit at the supermarket, you may glean some of their intelligence this transit: You may receive “downloads” while you sleep and/or scintillating flashes of insight meant to prepare you for evolution—a higher ground.
WHAT’S THE FREQUENCY, KENNETH?
From what’s been studied by those who believe in aliens, they handle their lives far more efficiently than us humans. They notice that the denser we are, the more difficult our lives, so they don’t believe we should hold onto heavy, sad emotions. They know that the better we feel (unburdened by sadness, anger, etc.) the lighter we’ll be and the easier it’ll be to get through challenges. In honor of the aliens this new moon — and for our own sakes — we can raise our frequencies by starting fresh, letting go, and becoming a real good friend to ourselves.
REBUILD.
This New Moon in Aquarius arrives as we’re wrapping up the retrogrades of Venus and Mercury. (Venus went direct January 29 and Mercury will go direct on Feb. 4, though we have to wait a few weeks for them to return to full speed.) These retrogrades have given us a forced pause: With Venus retrograde, for instance, we’ve been able to reflect and reconsider who, what, and how we love and make money. With Mercury’s Retrograde, we’ve achieved a better understanding of how we think and communicate. Like objects in motion like to stay in motion, without retrogrades we may stay on automatic pilot, going after that which no longer has heart and meaning. Thanks to these retrogrades, we’re more aware now of what we don’t want, which will inform what we DO want, which is an important to step to getting it.
Saturn, planet of structure, is conjunct the New Moon in Aquarius, however. So it’s not just enough to know what we want: We’re tasked with breaking down those old structures that no longer serve us (Aquarius) and building new ones (Saturn) that stand the test of time. This New Moon, therefore, consider what you want in your life, and create the structure to achieve it. For instance, say you’re looking for more love, money, or creativity. Saturn wants to see you actually doing something about it. Saturn’s goal is definition, solidity, and tangible results—that which can be built upon, e.g., the second date builds upon the first date; money made is reinvested into the business; artistic projects are refined and finished, and you’re doing whatever you can to make a sale. Building a structure for what you want will require consistency, discipline, and time; schedules, benchmarks, etc. therefore may be helpful.
