SHARING THE LIGHT: NEW MOON IN ARIES

Since Pisces season (February 20-March 20) we learned how to “let go and let God” and surrender. We may have forgave, moved on, or called it quits with something or someone. With extra space freed up now, we’re able to create the energy/vision/frequency of what we DO want to experience. If we can get a picture of who we want to be and what we want to be doing; if we can get into the emotions of what that feels like and maintain that frequency, we can experience its real-life effects in October — if not sooner.

Tap into the blooming potential of your brightest story by sharing your light with others as much as possible. Whether it be showing your talents to the world, offering a therapeutic smile to another, or just taking the time to care for someone else, the light you offer now will brighten the path ahead that leads you to your most authentic self, which is love. A byproduct of this is extra energy — because all energy, at its basis, is love.

To find out where the New Moon in Aries will give you an opportunity for a fresh start, see where 11 degrees of Aries falls in your astrological chart; likewise, read your sign and/or rising sign below.

Aries: Happy birthday! As the New Moon in your sign blasts through your First House of Self/Identity, you may be feeling like you’re tying up loose ends. This is uncharacteristic of you, even when it’s NOT your birthday, as you’re usually go-go-go! Rest assured, this is normal: As Neptune and Jupiter swim through your 12th House of the Subconscious, these two magical influences will help you lock into your brain how you want things to be (which you can change along the way, if necessary). If you had let go during Pisces time (February 20-March 20), you now have the space for new things to grow — and the ability to shine brighter than ever before. This is your moment, Aries, to share your light with others, so that when the fall season comes around, you’re living in the universe that you created.

Taurus: You are preparing for birthday season, as the New Moon in Aries struts through your Twelfth House of the Subconscious. With Chiron tagging along, this is a time of soul-searching — of sorting things out and letting stuff go. But with the gang of Aquarian planets in your Tenth House of Status/Career, you may be too busy to nest and rest as much as you wish. Though your professional life may be at the forefront of your mind now, be sure to balance all the work you’re doing with some extra TLC. Whether it’s meditating, relaxing, journaling, or sleeping more, use the next two weeks to process your recent experiences as much as possible. This will stand you in good stead for your next moves come birthday season!

Gemini: As the New Moon in Aries transits your Eleventh House of Hopes/Dreams/Wishes/Ideals/Friendship/Groups, you’re about to ask yourself, “Why not?” in a very big way. Why not go for those highest apples on the tree? Someone’s probably going to go for them — why not you? With Jupiter and Neptune transiting your Tenth House of Status/Career now, you are being blessed professionally every which way to Sunday, so shake off any doubts and blues, and go get that trophy! Chiron is transiting your Eleventh House now, along with the New Moon, helping to heal your relationship with groups; share more of your light with the groups you’re in and you will see opportunities where before there were none.

Cancer: As the New Moon in Aries lights up your Tenth House of Status/Career, this is the time to rise up to the next level professionally. Whether that means climbing up the corporate ladder, jumping to another job or career, or taking your parenting to the next level, your moment has arrived. Healer Chiron is also hanging out in this professional area of your chart, catalyzing your need for recognition. Chiron represents old wounds, so send love back into the past to anything parentally or professionally that may have hurt you; this will help you to be brave and bold (very Aries!) as you make your next moves. With a bunch of Aquarian planets in your psychological Eighth House, you’re tasked to determine what does/does not deserve space in your head — this too will help you progress exponentially.

Leo: Whoa you’re on fire, Leo, with the New Moon in Aries merrymaking in your Ninth House of Expansion. As a fixed sign, you’re not usually keen to leave your comfort zone; now, however, you may have itchy feet, presenting the perfect time for you to embrace spontaneity and change! Whether you plan a trip, take a class, or jump out of an airplane, follow your highest excitement! In fact, doing so could be very healing for you now: With Chiron moping in this sector of your chart, you may be keenly aware of what has dulled your desire to explore before, and you can heal that now. Likewise, if you’ve been hustling to make something work and it’s starting to feel fruitless, now may be the time to exit stage left. You’ll want to expand and grow now, so take a close look at anything that makes you feel small. With a gang of planets in your Seventh House, you’re likely to achieve a lot in your relationships now; find those personal and professional partners who make you feel like the Sun God/Goddess you are!

Virgo: As the New Moon in Aries struts through your Eighth House of Rebirth, he’s dressed in all black, as this is an empowering transit for you. The Eighth House, however, is not easy-peasy; it’s a psychological house in which we face our deepest fears. It’s where we determine what we share and what we receive; it’s where we draw our lines and set our boundaries. With Chiron transiting this area of your chart now, too, you may be feeling as if you don’t have skin, you’re so sensitive to the emotional undercurrents of situations. To turn any uncomfortable intensity into empowerment, be flexible and let go. Take the law of least resistance — the Universe has you — and send whatever needs to go bye-bye on its way. Once you mourn what is no longer — be it a habit, job, relationship, or old identity — you are headed to a brighter day, one that you may sense has already begun.

Libra: The New Moon in Aries is fired up in your Seventh House of Partnerships. Libra is the natural Partner of Aries. Aries is the star (or so they think), and you’re married to the star. Your sign rules marriage and all long-term partnerships. Thus, the New Moon in Aries is a time of aligning with the partnerships that will make you happy. With Chiron in this area of your chart, too, old wounds may be kicked up around this time. A frank exchange of views may help to resolve a conflict. Or, if it’s something in the past that hurt you, send love to that memory. With your wounds having been licked, you’re ready to allow someone to enter your orbit. Whether it be the perfect spouse, side-piece, secretary, or girlfriend — a quality long-term partner may be en route. To prepare, consider what you need and what you’re willing to give.

Scorpio: The New Moon in Aries is dashing through your Sixth House of Lifestyle, disorganizing your dresser drawers and misplacing your silverware. It’s alright — he’ll be gone soon — but for now it’s time to pick up his mess and put things back where they belong! With a slew of planets in wacky Aquarius in the home sector of your chart, you may be applying your organizational skills to your home now. Whether you’re decluttering, settling disputes, or building a wall (figuratively or otherwise) there’s definitely activity going on in the home front. You may even determine you want to move, buy a house, invest in real estate, etc. But the real gold will be determining from a detached perspective what will make you feel most emotionally secure. Equipped with this knowledge — and of course doing something about it — your life will be like a well-oiled machine, running even better than before Aries hit it.

Sagittarius: The Aries New Moon is making you even more irresistible, dancing up a storm in your Fifth House of Joy/Pleasure/Creativity. If you’re not creating now, you’re likely lighting up rooms just by going on Zoom. However, with Chiron in this fun-fun-fun area of your chart now, too, you may notice some woundedness you have with fun: You may feel guilty about enjoying yourself, as if you don’t deserve it or that you should be doing something else. Do your best to shake it off, like fellow Sagittarian Taylor Swift, and get yourself back out there on the dance floor. Whether you’re racking up a tab at the Marquee, having a baby (or making one), or red-eying it to another continent on short notice, your lights are likely to be on like never before. This is your time to have fun, to play, create…to do whatever you want to do. Assert your desire for fun now, and share your smile and contagious laughter with as many others as possible.

Capricorn: The New Moon in Aries has his feet on the sofa in your Fourth House of Home and Family, messing up the pillows and putting the cups in the wrong cabinet. It’s alright. He’ll be gone soon, but while he’s still there, start to tidy up: Chiron accompanies Aries this New Moon. Somewhat of a Debbie Downer, Chiron reminds us of what hurt us in the past; thus, there may be some issues you experience now around emotional security. Chiron is the crack where the light can enter, so if you can be vulnerable at this time, even if it’s by yourself, you can send love and light to that wound. Then, once the light can better flow through you, you can leverage the past to your greatest advantage. You’re at the brink of creating tremendous emotional security, so nurture yourself in healthy ways that make you feel safe and sound — all tucked in. If you’re looking to move or redecorate, now’s a great time. Anything that provides the means to new familiar routines may be favorably adopted now.

Aquarius: You’re probably busy buzzing like a bumble bee this Aries New Moon. Not only is Aries transiting your Third House of Communications, you have Mars, Venus, and Saturn all in your sign. This, combined with the Aries New Moon in your intellectual Third House, your self-expression could expand in a very bright way, exposing you to new social circles, creative endeavors, and even a brand new way of thinking — which of course changes everything. It’s like the light of Aries has entered your brain and a bunch of planets in your sign are begging you to do something about it. The time is ripe to shake something up in your routine enviroment. This could be work, school, your neighborhood, classes you attend, etc. — any place you go to on a regular basis. Try something new in one or a few of these areas, as it’s likely to be advantageous. With Chiron also in this area of your chart, you may be remembering times in which some routined environment let you down — it may hearken all the way back to grade school! Send love to this memory now, because there’s a lot of fun to be had and learning to be done. If you’re looking to start a writing, broadcast, or other creative project, now’s a good time with all the planets in your sign.

Pisces: The New Moon in Aries may be burning a hole in your pocket in your Second House of Finances. If not, you’re probably making some power moves when it comes to building wealth or living your life according to your personal values. In addition to money, property, and values, the Second House rules self-expression. The more you can use your voice this transit — expressing yourself in a way that it is easy for you — you will add value to the world and get value back in return. Wounded Chiron is also in this area of your chart, so it’s a good time to heal any self-worth issues, keeping you from having it all. Use your magical imagination to send love to any moment in time that made you feel less than, and then proceed forward in building your life upon your strongest values. If you’re looking to make more money, buy a house, start a creative project, or simply share more of your light with the world, now is your curtain call.
